Stelaż plafonu powinien być maksymalnie lekki aby można było całość przytwierdzić do sufitów podwieszanych z karton gipsu. Jednocześnie powinien on mieć wystarczającą sztywność aby nie uległ deformacji przy ciasno nawiniętej wstążce.
Zbliżenie pokazujące jak perfekcyjnie i ciasno nawinięta jest tasiemka tworząca plisę.
